L I F E S I G N S  

In Italy I used to live five minutes away from the beach and I loved to go there during the winter. The sea in the winter is such a peaceful place, beautiful in a non conventional way, with its water dark and still and the sand clean and smoothed by the wind, with not a single human footprint for miles.

Walking for hours long the shore, I liked to watch the invisible paths that wild animals seemed to follow going from nowhere to nowhere. Yet, in some way, reading the prints left by their tiny feet, is not difficult to imagine them walking on the sand moved by a kind of rational behavior rather that pure instinct...
